Listening Colour
Mike Fryer

The theme of this exhibition is the use of colour as an expression of the artist’s view of the world. The exhibition will comprise of landscape and abstract paintings (acrylic on canvas or board) as well as various prints (etchings, screen prints and digital prints). The exhibition will be a feast of rich colour that will inspire, excite and reward the visitor

FREE Meet the Artist: At 11am Mike will give a talk about the use of colour in his work combined with question and answer session. Tea and coffee included. Booking required.

Young Art in Bexley

Bexley Civic Society presents artwork selected by schools across the borough. This will be the 32nd exhibition hosted at Hall Place and Gardens.

Centrepieces Open Art Exhibition

Artist led mental health group Centrepieces showcase wide-ranging work from paintings and sculpture to photography. Many pieces have been created through workshops held at the Crayford Centre.

Some of the best new and up and coming British Wildlife artists will have their work on display for the first time in the Dashwood Gallery in what will be truly a celebration of the natural world in art. Textile Studio

Textile StudioThe Textile Studio presents an exhibition of work inspired by David Evans & Co Silk Printers, Dyers & Finishers of Crayford. Alongside the textile exhibition will be objects from the extensive archive of David Evans & Co that became part of the Bexley Museum collection in 2001 with the closure of the company’s factory. The collection contains a variety of items from the 19th and 20th century textile printing industry including wooden casting blocks, silk screens, fabric samples and pattern books.
