Holiday Workshops

The education team at Hall Place and Gardens run fun-filled and action packed workshops during the school holidays. Various times and dates are available, and tickets must be booked in advance so please call the Hall Place shop for details. Children 3-7 years must be supervised by a parent or guardian.

12th, 13th, 14th February 3-7 years £2.20 per child
15th February 8-11 years £4.40 per child
Spring Workshops

Join the Carnival! Make and take home a marvellous carnival mask! Parade your creation and dance in the Great Hall.

2nd, 3rd & 4th April 3-7 years £2.20 per child
5th April 8-11 years £4.40 per child
Easter Workshops

Celebrate the Japanese Festival of the Girl and Festival of the Boy with art and craft activities. Make and take away a Japanese doll or a carp wind sock!

Summer Workshops

20th, 21st, 22nd & 23rd August 3-7 years

Go wild with Zoolab for a one-hour live animal handling session in the Great Hall. Get close up to cute furry animals and if you dare a selection of the creepiest crawlies imaginable! Includes a variety of rabbits, guinea pigs, snakes, snails and spiders!

28th, 29th & 30th August 8-11 years
10.30am – 3.30pm (bring a packed lunch)
